I mean honestly I'm one that actually LIKES driving. I'd prefer to have a car with only cruise control (for long road trips) and ABS (because it actually rocks). The lane assist and active whatever whatever is just taking more and more responsibility away from the driver. I can see it now, 40 car pile up and the driver sue's Hyundai because their active thingy turned off... leading to more recalls. *sigh* Its a cool idea though... but this just confirms I'll see self driving cars in my lifetime and that saddens me.

That pretty much already happens....people drive down roads indicated by their GPS, and when they hit potholes or objects in the road and cause damage to their car, they tell insurance companies, "It's not my fault...the GPS told me to go down that road."
Never underestimate the depth of stupid.

I'm not worried about the dawn of autonomous cars, as it will get people who don't care about driving out of the loop, and I'll get to try out some of these games proposed on the front page a while back

Besides, there will always be motorcycles for me to hoon (not like they can make that autonomous)
