I didn't take the photo but I am almost 100% certain I saw a Mercedes GT in full camo just now. This will be the second time this week I have seen it. ..I can't get pics of it just yet because I am seeing it from 7th floor office window, but I plan on poking around the hotel lot that it pulled out of today to see if I can see it. If you are in the denver area and want to try to catch a glimpse of this thing go to the holiday Inn at the corner of colorado blvd and cherry creek south, I assume the guys (or girls) testing it are staying there.

I wish I was street level for it! I want to hear that car so bad... I am going to try to snoop around the parking garage I assume it stables in at night. I'm sure they are just tearing up the mountains outside of denver

A couple of guys on the German development crews were on the team I worked for at the N24 last week. They were sworn to silence about the specifics, of course, but from what I can infer it should be a big step forward from the SLS. Less weight, better dynamics.

I've never much cared for the SLS' styling aft of the windshield, but it's easily forgiven because the SLS GT3s sounded like the Hammer of Thor, just ridiculous. On the pit speed limiters they sound like rapid artillery fire. We had to retire in the 13th hour, so I spent Sunday exploring, and the SLSs were unbelievable to watch through Pfantzgarten & Adenau, easily the most planted cars on track. Maybe a function of the long wheelbase, but they were amazing. If they're that good, the AMG-GT should be incredible.

That is awesome! After work yesterday I was driving out of my lot and as if I were the luckiest boy alive the GT pulled in and PARKED! I pulled up to it in my st and had a chat with the Germany behind the wheel for a moment. They were here (obviously) for altitude testing. He says the car handles like a top in the mountains and even at altitude the engine throws down....at idle the car sounds amazing, I tried to get a rev out of him but he said he couldn't because the diagnostics were recording some road testing at denver altitude (probably a bullshit excuse) up close I will say that is the best merc I have seen, I would definitely pick one up, and I haven't said that about anything merc besides the 190e cosworth. I am very excited for this car to come out....The sound alone makes it 10 x sexier.
