I had a 2004 2.7 V6 Chrysler Sebring as a first car. This was the project that I drew for it.
Yes, that was my real licence plate at the time.
I wanted a turbo on it! LOL I have a list of mods somewhere, and most parts that you see on it actually exist, including that ground effect!

In 2005, you had a 2004 Sebring. Why?

My father wanted to buy me a first car. He taped the exhaust and said "Look son! Look how solid this car is!". 2 days later he called me at my friend's house and tells me "Son, do you want it?" Me: Want what?... Him: DO YOU WANT IT OR NOT!?? Me: WANT WHAT????? Him: You know exactly what I'm talking about! Me: No I don't.... Him: Do you want the car, YES OR NO?. Me : Huh...............yes?...... And this is how I ended up with a 2004 Chrysler Sebring.

You drew this at 17, and here I am at 21 (about to turn 22), and I can barely draw a basic side view.
Lemme guess, you used source pictures to base these off of.

Still I was thinking about a Miata but now seeing that you didn't go through with this awesome project I don't want to be living the same life as you.

Around the same time and same age, I wanted to LS swap and RWD convert my '88 Buick Skylark. And chop top a mid 90's Bonneville and fit a body kit and convert it to a coupe. Nuts. Dafuq was I thinking. Definitely jealous I couldn't draw my ideas like you can.

Dang. It's like the wacky offspring of an ASL Garaiya and a Bertone Mantide (even though that wasn't unveiled until 2009).

It...actually happened. I lost interest suddently. My dream was to be a car designer and I let it all go due to lack of confidence. I was scared and didn't want to be rejected as a car designer. It's expensive to go there too...

So did I. I ended up making a couple crude sketches of what a DeLorean might look like if the company never went bust in 1982.
One was a modern interpretation of the original, along with a personal luxury coupe interpretation and a small compact.
Even had some engines thought out. Different models would have had different engine choices.
- Modern interpretation of the original (DMC-12): GM LZ9 3900 V6 (sourced from a Monte Carlo) or Nissan VQ35DE (sourced from a Nissan 350Z)
- Personal Luxury coupe interpretation (DMC-18): Jaguar AJ35 (from a Lincoln LS or Ford Thunderbird), Jaguar AJ34 (from a Jaguar XJ8), GM LS7 (sourced from a Chevrolet Corvette Z06)
- Small Compact Interpretation (DMC-06): Honda K20A3 (sourced from a base model Acura RSX), Honda K20Z1 (sourced from a later model Acura RSX Type-S), Subaru EJ255 (from a late second-gen Subaru Impreza WRX)
All engine bays would've been custom fitted to suit the chosen engine. Lower power engines would be lower spec models, Higher power engines would be higher spec, ranging from Stage 1 to a maximum of Stage 3 (Stage 2 for the modern interpretation of the original DMC-12).

I would, but they're not really that good of quality.
I'd be more likely to post my sketch of the side of a Buick Regal (the current one), which actually came out pretty good.
I also made a few sketches trying to predict new cars.
Made a Nissan Altima with a Juke-like nose and 370Z taillamps (turned out I wasn't far of there).
And of course, pure but (sometimes) realistic fantasy:
- Ford EcoBoost V6 powered ambulance concept (literally called the EcoBoost EMS Concept)
- Modern day Porsche 914 and 928
- Long wheelbase Accord specifically designed for the Chinese market
- A really weird MINI concept with a rear end that was 1.5 times the height of the roof over the front seats (called it the MINI+)
- A Porsche Grand Tourer, the 978
- A long, Mercedes-Benz SL sized Chrysler coupe, the Pacific V10
- A return of the Diplomat nameplate to replace the Avenger (based on a smaller version of the Charger's platform)
- A strange fusion of lead sled and VW, the VolksRod (originally with a W12, now with a twin-turbo TDI I-6)
- The Volkswagen V-Crawler TDI, a VW take on a Wrangler
- A Polo-based sub-Beetle, simply called the Bug
- A hardtop convertible based on the Fiesta, called the Capri
- Another MINI concept, the Sportster S. Apparently I predicted some of the design of the nose of the new MINI Cooper and also the sloping coupe roof of the Paceman in a sketch I drew in 2008.
- An extremely ambitious Kia fullsize pickup, the Evergreen, with engines ranging from a 2.4L 160 hp I-4 to a 4.6L 365 hp V8.
- A strange FWD BMW hatchback model for the Chinese market, the C-Star20Li XDrive.
- An even smaller Ford ST, the return of the Festiva, this time based on the Ka.
And, a few interesting sketches for a potential future Burnout game, including a world map and cars.

You certainly drew better than me when I was that age.
However, I drew an MX-6 with a ricer wing and ricer interior when I was 14. The drawing is laying around somewhere, and I'm unsuse if I want to share it.

I praticed by copying the cars directly from the brochure, like I did there. Then after a while I created my own cars from scratch in 3D. It wasn't glorious at first, but now it's great. Still not perfect through.

Great drawings, ugly car! A Sebring SRT4 would have been easier, as the Dodge version of the R/Ts were 2.4L turbo in Mexico.

Yeah but back then I didn't know at all. I loved the V6 and wanted a turbo on it. Told you I was insane.
