Had a meeting with my boss and his boss's boss (the head boss man here) yesterday...
and the head boss man was asking me about the FR-S I just bought... he saw it on my FB. He mentioned that I should check out the Windy City BMW club, because they host a lot of auto-x events and stuff throughout the year and all makes/models are welcome. He just sent his secretary up to give me the last two monthly publications that the club puts out. Looks like I will be spending some track time with the boss man! :D

Well I work in social media marketing, and have been mindful of what I put on my social pages for quite some time. I get along well with my boss, so it's not a worry for me. I know how to keep my FB page maintained so I can enjoy my personal life and still look ok if someone from work were checking up on it. Also, if you are smart about it you can actually make some strategic posts to endear yourself to your boss. Working for an automotive company, and having a boss who is a petrolhead, it's easy for me because I post automotive stuff all the time anyways. haha

Yeah, that makes sense if that's the field you work in. Kinda comes with the territory. It also smart to just what you said and pimp the company... All is well, nothing to see here.

I was hesitant to accept his friend request, just because it would make my friend (his daughter) uncomfortable and she would have to be somewhat mindful of what she posts to my page. But yeah, couldn't really refuse a friend request from my boss... especially when I'm the social media guy. haha
