Simple and beautiful. Just like the real car... true to porsche design philosophy!

I would love to have one of those!

Those are pretty, but I kept expecting him to add detail. I was surprised when the video ended.

I wouldn't call this sculpting at all. He just made a mold , sanded down the edges, and slapped some paint on it. When I clicked this link I was expecting actual sculpting. No wheels, no detail what so ever. Meh....

im sure he made the mold.. and i think he just wanted to show the beauty of the shape of the car. nothing wrong with keeping it simple.. captures the spirit of the car i think

I think the point for him was to show the undulating lines and curves at their most basic. Adding details like wheels, headlamps and windows would break up the flow of these elements and therefore defeat the purpose of the piece.

I for one, love this. If only he made a MKI Mini, I'd gladly fork over $400. Maybe. Probably not, but I'd lust.

See Jack Harper's work. Former mechanic imparts the feel of the car to the models. Not always technically correct, but the detail he adds to resin kits makes true to the form of the cars on in the 60s and 70s.

Yeah, because there is no sculpting involved in making the form to take the mold casting from at all.....

Making a mold to make hundreds of copies isn't art. Its industry.

To me art is making something unique that only you can create. Such simplistic and easy designs doesn't signify good art to me. I'll make you one for $400 bucks.

Putting the resin in a vacuum for a bit while it cured would really have saved quite a bit of sanding.

At first, I didn't understand. However, this shot made me cover my mouth in awe and I got it. Simply beautiful.

Nice work.

You initially said that there was no sculpting involved in what he'd done, now you're claiming there isn't any art. Art is totally subjective, as has been argued over many, many times. Whether you or I view it as art is our own personal preference, but, there is most definitely sculpture involved in what he does.

Start working at home with Google! It's by-far the best job I've had. Last Wednesday I got a brand new BMW since getting a check for $6474 this - 4 weeks past. I began this 8-months ago and immediately was bringing home at least $77 per hour. I work through this link, go to tech tab for work detail

last pay check was $9500 working 12 hours a week online. My neighbour's sister has been averaging 15k for months now and she works about 20 hours a week. I can't believe how easy it was once I tried it out.

This is what I do,,,,,,,,,,

His work is amazing. I'm a big fan for years, since I met him in California, and I already own most of his limited prints and some sculptures (917, 356, 911). Also I'm not surprised Porsche gave him an official licence. He honestly deserve it !

Somewhat tangential:

If he was in art school, and he was following his passion (cars), and the instructors didn't understand that passion and he got bad grades... I don't get it. Shouldn't the instructors be there to foster whatever his passion is, or whichever direction it takes?

He was right to bail.

I believe sanding is to get the high gloss polish not cus of bubbles.

Very neat and beautiful work, but I wish there was more detail in the model. I appreciate the subtlety of the single pin stripe, but I think there are so many details that could differentiate one 356b model from other aside from color and striping.
