I saw a Gremlin on the road today. A real 70s gremlin. Not rusting away in a field, but driving in the fast lane on the interstate. No SR20 but it was maroon with gold accents. Go figure!

I would love to rock a Gremlin (denim interior for my evil plans) with a SRT-4 motor and RWD 5-speed stuffed in it. Get some widdened steelies, granny hubcaps, and some cheater slicks. Ultimate sleeper with a baby-blue Gremlin with an innocent denim interior that will annihilate anything, anywhere.

As I was driving through central PA this past Christmas, I was doing 75 on the interstate and was passed by a Yugo. So much respect for the person driving it, because I could have sworn that thing was about to come apart.

They were made in Wisconsin. They have one of the highest build qualities because if it.

They were the only American subcompact of that era that passed the IIHS' first small car crash tests. Also, they didn't explode or fall apart after 10,000 miles, so that was a decent leg up on Ford and GM at the time.

I'd use the ecoboost 2.0 as well as the Wayne's World paintjob..

I'd like to keep it within the MoPar family. However I wouldn't mind placing the FiST/FoST/SVTFo motor in a Pinto (Cruisin' Wagon preferred) build.

My best friends girlfriend had one of these with the Audi 4 cylinder and and automatic. It was the only car around slower then my 80 Fairmont with the 2.3 4 banger.

I saw a Pinto shooting brake today, I'm not sure I knew about those.
