flash flood, with unrelated destruction of a action camera, a cell phone, a Chevy Nova SS, my browser's stability. But it seems to be coming back to normality.
Pre-flood, I'd been running the camera around in the almost-clear weather.
Had I had the camera pointed the right direction I would have got a beauty shot of a C7 Vette with some growl. instead, it fell off. The camera, that is. I think the Nova must have hydroplaned, lost traction. Set up for dry weather, it was. Let's hope for proper classic insurance. Cheers, Nova.
Got home, sat in the car as a creek formed in the yard. Amusing it was. Anyway, getting out of the car I dropped the phone. Shorted out the speakers, but the rest of it worked, even received calls. Which I couldn't hear or speak for.
Go get another phone.
The web browser, meanwhile, has had a security update. Which crashes constantly during the phone activation process.
And someone was supposed to be towing a vehicle to store in the driveway, but this was about EXACTLY the same time as said rain. But they haven't shown up. And had they called, I couldn't have said anything.
Finally got the phone activated, the browser stable by using another one. Good fix, Mozilla.
And now to rest some before hitting the road to Kentucky yehaw.
About the camera: not a big deal, a cheap panoramic camera. I had just come back from the store with a batch of extras for $10 apiece. I have a receipt, carefully open one of the new ones, exchange it. Done.
Ah, sweet indulgence in the big wordy tv.
