ah, the 2JZ, the engine we find in lexuses, supras, in twin turbo form, and the questionably sacrilegious cars that they also find themselves in. What would you want a 2JZ (any form) in? For me, I want it in a Dodge Magnum.

I want one in an R32 Skyline for absolutely no reason. I'd put Nissan logos all over it and see if anyone noticed

If you did that to an original, that would be a crime against humaity, but if you did it to this one, I would be ok

First... I would put a JZ-family engine in a Mark III Supra if/when the 7M-GE/GTE blew it's head gasket again. More precisely, probably a 1.5JZ-format... 2JZ strong 3 liter bottom end with an earlier 1JZ cylinder head and manifolds... which fit better under an A70 Supra's hood.
As I6 cars go, this is pretty much at the top of my want list. A GT coupe with a fastback hatch, targa roof, and a sharp slant-nose. Lighter, more reliable, and more affordable than a BMW 8-series, sleeker than a BMW 3-series, and more modern than a classic S30 or S130 Nissan Z.
Other than a Toyota... I would put a 2JZ-GE with individual throttle bodies, and good header system, and possibly as much of the rest of the modernized drivetrain as possible, into a replica british roadster, to really update the reliability, but keep the front-engined I6 smooth-running and sweet-sounding tradition. And a replica car, or an original donor that had no chance of ever being 100% original ever again, would preserve the intent of resto-mods, and keeping original cars pristine.
Austin Healey 3000 would make a perfect donor... the name wouldn't even need to change. Others... Jaguar XKC or XKD-type replicas... Triumph Spitfire/GT6. MGC. or some sort of kit car indirect homage.
I would suggest a Miata-rebody like a Simpson Design Italia, but the Nissan RB-engine actually flows through the head from right to left, like the Miata's original engine, where the Toyota I6 engines actually flow from left to right... Keeping it similar to the original would help with exhaust routing in the engine bay and under the car.

The most scary to drive is use put a massive twin turbo'd 2JZ that would huge amounts of horsepower (sorry using many "big" synonyms), and make it undrivable

My neighbors have one of these, in this color. I daydream about a narrowed Ford rear end, big tubs and a huge single turbo 2JZ. BEST DRAG TRUCK EVER.

Corvette. Honestly, enough LS motors go into something else, time to see someone get creative with the donor for once.
