Someone brought an Alfa Romeo 4C to the weekly Bob's Big Boy classic car gathering last night. As expected, it drew interest (especially from me - I was glued to the hip of that car for half an hour admiring every curva ).

Proportion wise, it's very similar to a Lotus Elise or Evora. But the interior is a bit nicer (not stripped down as the Elise), as you'll see below.

Headlights had the "4C" logo.

Nice butt. And hey, manufacturer plates.

Update: The gentleman who brought the 4C is an auto journalist with the local ABC news station. He did a short piece on the car you can read/watch !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! .

I want to buy one. But insurance would suck.

I wonder how many people who have the bugeye type headlights change them for the US spec ones.

i had to look them up - yeah, i favor these much more. the bug eye headlights i guess evoke some of the 'alien insect' vibe of the Elise, but the headlights above look cleaner and elegant.

eh, buy the car first and worry about insurance later. that's what i do!

though i am curious what the monthly insurance cost would be on this bad boy. probably have to go through an insurance that specializes in exotics, too...
