Another day, another fresh trade-in.

Yesterday we had a very beige car with an unbeige surprise:

!!! UNKNOWN CONTENT TYPE !!!

Today we've got a Dodge Dakota fit for a pirate.

Kinja'd!!!

Here's a typical 10 year old Dakota, dark red with some brown rust coloration, it'd look right at home in Grandpa's garage right next to Grandma's PT Cruiser.

Many custom cars have themes, which is great... it can really tie the customization together. Like this Pepto-Bismol donk, for example.

Kinja'd!!!

This Dakota's theme is skulls. Skulls from Wal-Mart's automotive aisle.

Kinja'd!!!

Winged skull seat covers.

Kinja'd!!!

With dozens of little skulls on them because the winged skulls aren't enough.

Kinja'd!!!

Skull seatbelt pads.

Kinja'd!!!

Skull and crossbones rearview mirror...

Kinja'd!!!

...it's double-sided!

And there's the skull license plate frame, which someone promptly stuck to the back of the store manager's Jeep while he wasn't looking:

Kinja'd!!!

Not pictured: chrome skull stuck to the center console.

Customer kept his skull trailer hitch cover.

Skulls!

This guy didn't have the chrome skull washer jets with light-up eyes. I was disappoint.

In my home town there was a black late 90's 150 with cheesy chrome 18" wheels, Skull decals all down the side, he had the skull trailer hitch with light up red eyes, skull tail light covers, a skull covered chrome grille. Plenty of random tacked on skull/chrome bits from Autozone, an Autozone hood scoop, and I'm sure there was some skull crap on the inside too. And to top it all off the licence plate said SKULL_X.

The guys summer car was a green early 2000's Taurus on 20's that had lots of stick on chrome, and a BIG hood scoop.

Hmm, what about skulls on the valve stems? You know the kind, the kind that's heavy and ends up breaking the valve stem and will also oxidize/corrode/deteriorate and be impossible to remove, that kind.

Wow....Diehl. Do you work there?

I grew up in Pittsburgh and went to high school with someone in that family. Small world.

....oh, and that truck is terrible. But it doesn't really surprise me for Butler hahaha. Likewise for the Silverado you just posted recently.

I don't work at Diehl, but the manager of the store where my office is used to.

We do get lots of Butler traffic though.
