The owner is from my extended family and had just bought the car, she wouldve let me have a drive but insurance in the UK is a PITA so I just rode shotgun.
Seemed very smooth for a small diesel in a relatively cheap car and didnt feel underpowered. Seats are reasonable too although the rest of interior made it obvious it was a low/mid range model. Still better than a punto or corsa of the era IMO which are main rivals for this car.
The suspension felt a little stiffer than most econoboxes with little to no bodyroll, which I liked.
Free tax too, it's definitely going on the shortlist for my first car.
