TWS, I never heard of them, but their wheels are really light!

I've heard/seen some before, but not as a performance oriented wheel. More of a showy-type wheel. I like the performance side of TWS apparently!

buy them. What I've learned from regularly (read daily) searching BMW forum wheel classifieds is that as long as you don't crack, bend, or badly curb the wheels you can sell them for a good amount once you're done with them.

I regularly look at wheels that cost $5k new sell for $3750-4250 after being used until the tires needed to be replaced. It all depends on how nice you can keep the wheels.

Blah that's WAY over my budget. I am planning at a most 1500 for wheels. I would buy some really nice ones, but my wallet is not willing!

1) Sell interior and other non critical pieces.

2) Buy wheels.

3) Racecar

I like 2 and 3, but I drive this car everyday. I like to keep road noise to a minimum although this car is still loud at 50mph . . .

They would look even better if they were 2k cheaper!

I understand. I always swoon over BC forged wheels for my 328i but I don't want to drop $4400 on wheels.. That are on sale.

I'm trying to use a $1750 budget for wheels AND tires new.

Yeah interior removal would ruin a daily most likely. Do Enkei make RPF1s in a suitable size? I fitted a BRZ with them on gt6 and it looked pretty cool.

Oh sweet jebus. Those look nice. I am looking at wheels and tires combo at most of 2k, but I would like to keep it at 1500. I want nice tires so the wheels will be Enkei or Rotas. I am playing the waiting game right now.

They do, except the offset is 5mm a bit much for the front at least. I am looking for 17x9 +40, but plus or minus 5 isn't too bad.

I know how you feel lol. I've been looking for months now and I can't decide. I really don't want to raise my budget because I want to buy an exhaust soon too but at the same time I'm putting a lot of money away towards buying a fun car with 3 pedals to toy around in.

Might just end up going towards a slightly used set of wheels and get some good tires. Wouldn't be that bad of a compromise.

I just dropped $1,904 on Enkei PF01SS and Yokohama S-drive tires. I thought I got a good deal, as Good-Win-Racing has a deal on both, mounted and balanced right now. (Mine's a MX-5)

You could go quite a bit cheaper if you dont want 9" wide wheels and 235/40/17 tires like I got. You would even be close to your stated budget if you jumped down just 1" wheel width and 215 or 225 wide tires.

BTW, I LOVE my set. They look just as good on your platform.

if it helps I've had my Enkeis for a couple months now and love em, I got the pf01's and Continental ExtremeContact DW tires. The lightness of the wheel coupled with the performance of the tire still surprises me, coming from the stock wheels and shit overpriced tires my car had

Oh tires will be a GIANT upgrade in my car. The all seasons are great in the. . . snow I guess, not really though, other than that they suck! Plan is to get Michelin Pilot Super Sports or the cheaper Pilot Sport A/S3s.

The problem I have is my bolt pattern! Enkei doesn't like 5x100 as much as 5x114.3. Although I found these, gonna need 5mm spacers to get it to fit without fear of rubbing though, but quality, price, and size are all there!

I have been looking at used wheels on certain forums, but I am a little wary. It isn't like exhaust parts a wheel that has been abused, then it might be a bit scary.

Yeah 9 inch wide wheels really limits my choices. Particularly for around 1k. Rotas have a ton, and Enkei does too but not in 5x100. I did find a wheel by Enkei called T6S in 17x9 and black for around 1k! Which makes me happy!

If you buy used, try to make it local so you can check them out. If you find some in the NoVa DC area I'll take a look for you if you want haha.
