Yes and no. I think Minnesota has really nice looking plates.

Agree. Home town bias...BC has pretty good base plates with very little customization available.

Check it out...same basic plate for everyone except custom letters (of which there is only one design). The design has been with us since 1986.

For example you can see the "Farm" vehicle plate is essentially the same design with special numbers

Those are nice and simple. Farm ones are nice, I think a lot of plates around here have a "Truck" plate

But you have so many more choices is the thing. There are plenty of basic ones out there that don't look half bad but the amount of specialty plates makes things abhorrent. Pretty soon here I am switching from my yellow NY plate, which has grown on me to one of the several Utah plates that aren't very good. The ski utah one isn't too bad.

I always felt Utah's slogan on license plates should have read "Under Construction." I have had to drive there for years and all the I15 is always under construction.

dear god yes. I am outside of park city and work in the town. There are two ways in. Both of which are under construction. What in the hell is wrong with their thinking
