On my way to the junkyard now. Interesting fact...Z20 Soarers are mechanically almost identical to MkIII Supras. Same shocks, same control arms, same brake calipers, same hubs, not the same rotors. Found out last night the Supra uses a spacer to push the caliper further from the hub, and then runs an ~1" larger diameter rotor. Looks like we're getting an upgrade!

We already bought the rotors and pads, and the only difference between the two models brake systems is the larger rotor and the extra bracket, so we're just going to add the Supra brackets and call it a day. I guess we'll have slightly better brake fade...

The guy at Napa was pretty shocked they had the rotors in stock when I bought them (I checked online first). Then he was even more shocked when he got them and they were 'Made in the USA'. I think Napa stopped making their premium rotors in the USA about 5 years ago...

4886041 Front rotor, fits 86-92 Supra only. In stock? Wow. None of the Napa stores or warehouses around here have them.

Sad that none of the aftermarket parts makers still make in the USA. One of the big reasons I try and buy OEM.

For a Japanese car?

I was kind of surprised they had them in stock, but it is southern California....places tend to stock things you wouldn't find on a shelf anywhere else. Or somebody ordered these 5 years ago and never came to pick them up...win for me.

Yeah I stopped wondering why all of Mazda's stock of old 80's RX-7 parts are in the CA warehouse, and dealers there stock some of the old old old stuff.
