So the MKIV was maybe not the best generation of Golf...nothing a little V8 can't fix

This is actually , my favourite generation. I know, it really isnt the nicest to drive, or lightest, but this for me was what planted Volkswagens reputation for upscale interiors at normal prices and a nice german feel. Build quality/reliability are pretty crappy, which makes me sad since they build them in the country I live. I am really nervous on the MK7 Golf made in Mexico, that car they CANT mess with.
