Update: Pics!

Hello Oppo, here is our top speed attempt with the Corvette C7! A few things to take note of:

-The runway isn't as long as we would like it to be, so I doubt you could run a C7 to more than 160mph on this one.

-The 7 speed transmission takes some getting used to, as you'll see, it's very easy to do a 2—>5 or 4—>7 shift. We probably could have eked another 4 or 5 mph without that mistake, and then another 5mph if we had tried to push it more.

Unfortunately the price of a Corvette does not include wings, otherwise yes we would have hit higher speeds.

It can change to a regular dial looking tach as well, this is the track mode tach though. Check out those shift lights though!

Yeah those shift lights are pretty awesome. Can you have those shift lights with the dial-mode tach and still have the car in track mode or whatever?

I believe there's a setting to change the tach manually but the shift lights are only on track mode

Yup! The HUD is pretty awesome, gone is the old gameboy-esque HUD of the Corvettes of yore, it's now a pretty high res color display

Hm I never really had any issues missing or skipping gears in the 7-speed C7. I actually found the 7-speed in the 991 a bit more vague, and I was more likely to fudge a shift there.

The shifter itself is great, I think it's more of a getting used to a 7 speed thing? Especially at speed.
