There's a bird that hangs out near my office building - just a little two story building. But it's all reflective, mirror-looking glass on the outside. So every month or so, I'll hear this peck-peck-pecking out the window.
The bird, thinking it's some other bird here to claim his territory, or his mate, or whatever. Is trying to attack his own reflection. It's absolutely hilarious.

One of my academic buildings had a wall of clear or very lightly tinted glass in the lobby.
Twice, I saw birds ram themselves, full speed, into the glass. It's like they didn't know it was there.
