It's not a good idea to enter a freeway and then slow down every lane of traffic during peak travel times, because YOU need to get off on one of the next few exits.

That is exactly why there are no more left hand entrances or exits on redesigned/rebuilt interstates. You can just feel the "fear of driving" going through their head as you approach

Clearly the driver of Versa was dumped into the left lane by a poorly designed interchange and was simply trying to exit the freeway at 309A. You see, there something called "lane discipline", if you and others had it, this driver's actions wouldn't be such a big deal.

Rush hour: increased chance of people stopping at X even though it's a "new" lane. . and from the left, , people needing to turn right and not seeing/ignoring the stripes. Some of these fail so bad they've had to put nerf thingies where the exit road stripes are.
