Anyone here have any experience traveling to Israel? I'm taking a week off my vacation and running off to Tel Aviv and Jerusalem for a week. Is there anything out of the ordinary that is a total must see that I wouldn't think of? I'm on a relatively tight budget, so nothing too extreme please.

I'm a pretty big fan of the negev desert in the south. There is some amazing scenery down there, especially around Ben gurion's memorial/grave. There is also a large air force museum which is really just a lot of planes in various conditions just outside of be'er sheva. I'd also recommend the tank museum between tel Aviv and Jerusalem, I can't remember the name, but it should be easy to find on Google.

Totally off topic, but are you still based out of College Station? I've been attending a local meet on Fridays that has been a lot of fun, you should come out sometime with the duc.

Based, yes, but I wont be back until shortly before school starts. Praying the Duc will start when I get back, but if it does I'll come by some Friday when there's no football the next day.
