Regular Car, Tight Course

If you've ever wondered how tight a "normal" FSAE course actually was, you're in luck. The organizers of FSAE Lincoln, going on right now in Lincoln, Nebraska, have posted videos from a regular car driving their course. The Autocross course (below) is actually really really wide open as far as these courses go, but the Endurance course (above) is the more typical tight and twisty course. We'll have to wait for this afternoon's autocross to see how much faster the actual cars are, but I'd bet it is a good 10+ seconds.

That looks like the aero cars are going to love that Autox course. It appears to have lots of medium to high speed corners. Top speed looks like it will be pretty high too. Are you out there competing? Judging? Volunteering? Hangin' out?

Nope. Sitting back here in NC cheering on my alma mater. (Kettering). So far a 26th or something in presentation and 2nd in cost (by under 0.1 point).

Both courses looks pretty wide open compare MIS courses...
