Actually, that was the surgeon. If we had his back, I somehow think it would come back dirty, and in worse shape than when we got it.

It may not. The doctor who performed the two C sections on my wife was so damned good that it left no appreciable scar. The whole thing was held together with one long suture that he pulled out by hand. No stitches, no staple. Amazing.
