That is a Ford Mako V8 Capri. I do t know much about them other than they had a Boss 302 wedged between the fenders and did 0-60 in under seven seconds. I know that because my father is using that as a bech mark for his five litre swap Capri.

Apparently they used cylinder heads from the Detomasa Mangusta. But some facts are probably getting lost in translation, literally. I can see pictures of the car in an old German Capri book ( I think its called Capri Bucht) and there is a picture of a Mk II with a shark on the grille instead of FORD. Obviously I can't read German or I'd have figured this out by now.

So they used cylinder heads from Ford? Makes sense :P

Also if the Mako had a Boss 302 then it didn't get the heads from the same engine as the Mangusta, since it had a pretty standard 302 with 230hp.

Will do. Its a pretty wide book, so it wont fit on my scanner, you'll have to make do with pictures taken with a potato

If its saying its 290 horse power its definitely the Boss then. That was the factory Boss output for '69 and '70.
