That interview I had over the phone where i was asked to submit times and then provide a phone number where I forgot to provide a phone number... I did make it past the opening round and just had my second round interview over the phone. What an odd interview.
I was asked 4 questions. Have you ever provided a recommendation to a project (and what happened)? Have you ever asked questions to help a project (and what happened)? Have you ever been part of a group involved in changing a process (and what happened)? Have you ever been involved in changing a technical process (and did you have any resistance?)
For a phone interview for an accounts payable and travel expense processing position I found those 4 questions to be very odd.

They probably pulled them out of a book or something. I once was asked to describe my perfect day.

I'm not sure if my perfect day is HR appropriate.

Mine wasn't either. I guess that's why I didn't get the job.

Could have been based on your resume vice the desired traits for the job. Our HR folks will pull bone head moves like that sometimes when someone is applying for a job that's not directly related to their previous experience.

I'd have to hope I have a manager I could be casual with if they ask a question like that and tell them their HR department would have a problem with my real answer and tell him/her instead what a perfect work day looks like. (hint: I'd leave out spending time on Oppo)

They could possibly be looking to change systems/processes etc.
