T-Tops are badass as hell, and I won't hear differently. They don't make them anymore, and that bugs me. Heacock Classic, a classic car insurer, seems to be producing some good pieces of car history recently, and !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! is no exception. They are based in Central Florida, which might actually make them authorities on subject.
What's your favorite T-Topped car of all time?

Sure, T-tops are all fine and dandy till you get caught in a downpour and you're looking for something to dry your ass off. Thats with the roof on too!

T-Tops that were actually manufactured correctly. A rarity in the world of t-tops!

I like the Nissan NX from the early 90s. It has all the fun of T-tops but in a more fuel-efficient, fun, and usable package.

My T-Tops have never leaked on me. The frame-less windows? Every damn time.

I was shocked to be reminded that Brats could be had with them. I guess my "put T-tops on the Ranchero" idea isn't quite as earth-shattering as I thought.

My best friend growing up had a '91 with t-top in white. It was only 7-8 years old and the suspension and many interior appointments were shot to hell already. That being said, I still want one, BAD.

My first car was an '85 base coupe. Magnificent piece of shit and that's when it was running
Still want another. Doesn't need to be cherry because I'll end up thowing gofast bits and a Tremec T56 at it anyway.

Targa > T-tops
I had 2 targa MKIII Supras. The tops were never on. Nothing beats driving with the top off at 2 am on a warm summer night.

I don't know, those t-bars can provide quite a bit of structural support. Seems like you are getting close to the same effect from a t-top without losing that rigidity.

My uncle had one back in the early 90s, I didnt know what it was, but thought the paint scheme was pure childhood awesomeness. Looking back now Im sad I never pushed for a ride in it.

I didn't know this existed, I thought mercury kind of faded into nothingness in between the late 60s cougar era and the Taurus based whale car of the 90s. I think I like it.

I never had an issue. Nothing leaked on the t-tops or the windows on my 95 Z28. And that car had 110k miles when I bought it, and I was the 7th owner according to carfax.

Oh no they were alive, don't you worry.
There was also the Cougar built off of the Thunderbird, which we all know the Thunderbird was a bit bigger version of the fox body platform. So there are 5.0 Cougars from the 80s as well!
