1998 Impreza wagon (manual). Engine is gone. Have a few guys taking the major bits off it, but I'm looking for a few things that may be useful. Grabbed the tape deck and speakers to build Murilee's Turbo II junkyard boombox, got the accelerator and fuses, grabbed the instrument cluster... what other odds and ends would be useful for other projects?

Everything you possibly can. You never know when you are going to need parts, just take them all.
It's a rare opportunity (at least for me) to find a suitable parts car.

Tons and tons of metric fasteners! Everything on a Subaru is 10mm, 12mm, 14mm or 17mm, with only a few exceptions.

Never hurts to have some extra sheet metal or fasteners laying around for projects. Keep the seats and good trim pieces, you can probably fetch a few bucks or make some rec room furniture.

depends how much storage you have, selling side glass can be easy, as others have mentioned bolts/fasteners and wheels, seats are pretty interchangeable between models so easy to sell, airbags go fast as people who cause accidents dont want to pay their insurance

Not sure on Subies, but on most vehicles glass and door panels are usually good return for relatively little effort, though storage might be a pain. This assumes they're straight, rust-free, and the glass is unbroken.

There is actually an answer to that; Fuji Heavy Industries was formed by the merger of five companies. The five little stars represent the five original companies, and the big star stands for the one company formed by their merger.
