Silly little thing is doing some weird stuff.

It's a stock 6spd Cooper, 2011 I believe. Not sure about the mileage, but it's stalling. In neutral. After getting a little gas, it's just sputtering, and stalling. I think railing on it would keep it going.
My guess is on the fuel pump, but because we don't know if the warranty covers it or not, she wanted to take it there first. Hopefully it does. Seems to be somewhat widespread.
Sounds familiar to another german car that failed in Connecticut not too long ago.....

sounds like a fuel pump, they are a known issue on some years. BMW finally did a voluntary recall on them I believe.

This isn't a Cooper S, this is a regular Cooper. Same pump?
