And I'll be listening to the Vice City Soundtrack thanks to Crocket Bernet and his 80's theming. Never been, but tonight is "air cooled" night. Maybe I'll see a Comet...I mean 911 3.2.

I'll try to grab pics from my point and shoot. One day I'll get a decent camera.

When I lived in Chicago, my car-nerd friends kept trying to get me out to Downer's Grove for the various meet-ups.

If it's anything like they said it was 13 years ago, you should have a good time.

Holy crud, it's a thing. No show next week for some GroveFest thing their doing, but the whole downtown was all about cars for that 3 hours. And it was good. Took us 2 and a half hours without talking to guys or stopping too long to see almost everything. I think. It was tough, because there's the main strip, but then mini satellite car shows spring up in random parking lots. Putting together pics for tomorrow.

It was a great time, but there was so much to see, I didn't get to talk or hear stories (my favorite part) because I was so busy trying to see ALL the cars. O_O

It's also less meet-up and more mini-festival.

Not going to lie, it was pretty Awesome. Capital "A".

More like a mini-festival than a car show, guys would leave their cars parked, then drive up and down the strip 3-4 times to let people hear the cars. And despite the theme days, there's really everything there. Maybe a tiny bit light on exotics and a bit heavy on drag cars and GTOs.
