"HFV has no HFV. But somehow has 2 motorcycles" (hondasfordsvolvo)

I was playing with the 2015 Mustang config. and a GT with the "GT Tack Pack" and the Recaro seats is over 37k. A similarity equipped 2014 would have been about 5 grand less....
EDIT!: I'm sorry I was wrong an equally equipped 2014 would have only been about 2k less. I can forgive that price increase considering how much better this new Stang will be.
On the plus side an Ecoboost with the "Ecoboost Performance Package"(upgraded suspension, brakes, cooling, Limited slip difff.,wheels, aluminum interior trim, and oil pressure, and boost gauges.) , and Recaros is under 30k.
Also you can have it in five actual colors. Green, yellow, blue, orange, and two shades of red,
Personally I think I'd go with Guard. although in most pics it look much more grey than in this one, or on Ford's website. If I didn't Guard in person than Comp Orange would be my second choice.

It's still cheaper than a Camaro 1SS starting price.

I can't decide between black and blue. I'd probably go with black because that's what my current car is, but blue looks amazing in person, but will probably look terrible in sunlight.

but more than a Challenger R/T not I've ever even consider buying a Challenger. Also as I was configuring the R/T I found that you can't get a LSD and the manual trans.

I just configured a 2014 with track pack and Recaros and it's $35k.
For how much better the 2015 will be, it's well worth the extra $2k. Upgrading to the 6-piston big brake kit on the current gen would cost that much alone.

still super hard to tell what color it really is. Ford seems to like colors like this. Dark Side Metallic is hard to put a finger on. In low light its black, , but it's got flecks of blue, and green in it, and the start to pop when the light hits it. Emerald Green on the F-150s was black with juuust a hint of green. I really can't wait to see Guard in person, see the way it changes.

Why is the hood cracked so much? That better not be how they all look.

Dream 2014 Mustang with V6 manual, performance pack, and scoops: $24, 555 with $1k incentive
Dreamish(?) 2015 Mustang with V6, equipment package, and spare tire: $25,615
Dream 2014 equivalent 2015 Mustang with Ecoboost and performance pack, NO spare tire: $27,990
Disappointment: GREAT [I'm not a fan of boost <_< ]

That green is really classy. There's just something...professional about green cars. It cleans up muscle cars and makes them more mature. Same with the now-discontinued Lime Rock Green C7 Vette.

Gone starting 2015. From Carbuzz: "Shark Gray Metallic and Daytona Sunrise Orange Metallic replace Lime Rock Green Metallic and Cyber Gray Metallic on the paint color option list"

My best bet for a future collectable : manual transmission 2014 Convertible, Z51 performance package, Lime Rock Green, and Saddle Brown top/interior.
I'm not so sure about Cyber Gray. My uncle recently bought one, but I suspect specific shades of gray are inherently less special/collectable than genuine colors.

That is probably the best green ford has ever put on a mustang, and that's counting the Mach 1
