It's a Roush Ford Focus. What can Oppo tell me about this creation, which I've never heard of before?

Aren't most Roush creations just a body kit, some different rims, and light tuning? That's all I've ever thought of them to be.

What imbecile would pay them to get GT500 levels of power out of the engine, when the could just BUY A GT500!?

I love the RS. Both generations. If they sell the next one here I might cry. For joy. And anger at not having enough money to buy it.

It's more than just power. They do a complete overhaul. Make it a real track monster.

You mean like the Ford warrantied GT500? I just don't understand warranty-voiding aftermarket tuning this heavy. Especially when there's something just as good sold BY FORD THEMSELVES.

There's a decent chance, now that they've started offering the regular ST. The only issue I see is that a lot of Americans still struggle with the idea of a proper FWD performance hatch, and the RS would almost certainly retail above a base - or even mid-tier - Mustang. If Ford don't think it'll sell, they won't bother federalising it.

A lot more is done to the balance and suspension of the car, not only power.

I think the roush cars are also warrantied by ford, just like the saleens are. You can buy a roush or saleen from authorized ford dealers.

I've seen ST's, SVT's, and Saleens... Never seen a Roush....

I don't think they are. I looked on the Roush site and it only mentioned something about a 90-day Roush warranty

Thats for their performance parts, not the cars

Here is the most extreme turnkey pony car Roush offers through select Ford dealers, complete with a three-year/36,000-mile powertrain warranty.

It's a lot more than just added power. It actually has less hp than the GT500, but it is superior in the handling department.
