My 3 mile commute is usually pretty lacking in the nice car spotting category, but this was a nice change of pace.

I actually saw my first IRL Aston Martin the other day.

Nice. I've seen a vanquish on public roads where I live, but not a rapids yet.

Yea, I had to do a double take. The first time I glanced at it, my head was saying "it's a Ford". But then I looked back and realized it wasn't.

Nice! IMHO they are in a league of their own when it comes to classy sportscars.

Exuse auto correct putting down the term "rapids". Anyway, these things are much prettier than the popular Porsche Panamera.

Aston Martins are always the prettiest cars around, but to put it bluntly, their performance doesn't really match up to their aesthetics.

Even a Tesla Model S is faster to 60 than a Rapide S. To say nothing of the spanking a Porsche Panamera or Audi RS7 would give it.

But...dammit if the Rapide S isn't prettier than any of them.

Agreed x100. And don't worry about it. My phone tried to put in "Rapids" in the original post.
