I'm making fresh guacamole for a pot lock at work today. I'm that guy who brought in his own knives, cutting board, even salt & pepper just in case . Despite being marketed by an anthropomorphic mustelid representing a midwestern university, these blue corn chips are actually pretty good.

(The avocados & tomatoes are in my office not the fridge like they should be. In the fridge is all the other stuff...limes, scallions, shallot, garlic, cilantro, jalapenos. Mmm.)

Just putting it out there, it would make a whole lot more sense to have Michigan Blue Maize Tortilla Chips. But don't tell our money-grubbing AD, I'm sure he'll hop right on it. He even sold naming rights for the football coaches' offices .

yep. The fact that they are charging 300 bucks for STUDENTS is insane.

When I was at State it was like $110 for student season tickets, then I bought young alumni tickets for only $160 the next 2 years.

Yea, mine maxed out at $200, and I graduated in 2012. Young alumni tickets would be a great idea for Michigan Stadium, right now you just have to shell out for ticket packs ($200 for three games, two of them crappy non-conference???) or scalp em the day of if you don't have season tickets, for which you have to pay to be on a waiting list. But why bother filling the largest stadium in the country with loud young fans when you just can keep adding luxury boxes and charging Preferred Seating Donations to rich old folks?

I always find it hysterical when people say Spartan Stadium is louder, but we have a more vocal audience. And we also have acoustics going for us with how tall the stadium is vs your flat bowl.

I graduated in 08 so, I suppose my prices are 6 years old but still, that was the whole season and at the time we always lost to ohio state so i'd sell that ticket and make money on having tickets all year. ticket package- $110 - sell ohio state ticket for 150 - spend 30 on booze and watch from home = win (even though unfortunately the game was a loss) Did this once on Notre Dame Night game tickets for 175 a seat. It was pouring down rain, cold, and we lost damn did I bet right on that one.

Anyhow, Michigan is going to hit a ceiling on ticket prices at some point and I think they are there. The cost has to match the product - which it currently doesnt.

btw, you would've had more wins by now if you had just kept that idiot rich rod.

I'm just hoping we can keep shelling out enough cash to Narduzzi happy until he gets the head coach job in 5-10 years!

And here we were all heartbroken when treadwell left thinking he was gauranteed to be our next HC.

WHEW, great guy and a better coordinator, but damn we dodged a john l smith shaped bullet on that one.
