This truck had his driveshaft twisted so bad that it broke and took one of the main hydraulic lines for the LNG with him. I had to remove the driveshaft and check the damage. But wait! Now I gotta move it, but I can't start the engine and even if I did and get it into gear, it would not move and there's no air in the system so the brakes are applied. What should I do?? I push it from behind or tow it with my body? No...I'm not Mark Henry...but I got a trick to make me feel like him.
First, put air in the system (if it's under 65 PSI) by starting up the engine (if you can, in my case I can't) or put it manually. I usually do it with a red A/C plug on Volvos air lines or put a custom air hand on the trailer emergency air line and plug the blue line or use another truck and connect both air lines if you have no air lines around. It will leak until you push the emergency maxi to let the air in tanks.
Then remove the maxi brakes. Attach the steering wheel with the seatbelt to the desired position (with no engine power...good luck unless you jack the front).
Take a torque wrench (as pictured) and torque a random nut on the wheel. Keep torquing that same nut until the truck is at the right spot.
Congrats! You succesfully moved a semi-truck with no power from the engine and your own muscles. Go on and brag and get hotties!
