I got to see one. It kills me that I can't share any solid photos of it or tell you about it. That was the owners one request during the tour, he likes to keep it a surprise and I don't blame him. But I can show this, because this is something abstract and not entirely revealing. But still sexy, if you know what I'm on about.

I have been on a few tours of private collections and this is sometimes the case.

Hey at least you got to enjoy it. That is the way I look at it. I don't share my beer with the world either

Definitely an F40; no question about it.

There's a gentleman not quite an hour from me that has quite the collection of cars, including a Ferrari Daytona, 288 GTO, TWO F40's (one whose previous owner was Roger Penske), and a freakin' F50, among others.

Unfortunately I've never spoken with him, just others in the regional Ferrari circle who know him, and he's apparently incredibly private about his collection/life, which is understandable considering all the weirdos out there these days and the increasing ease of access to one's personal and private information.

However, he does bring his cars out once in a while, including his F50, and I'd give anything to see his collection up close and personal.

There's a guy like that near me. My dad knows him, and I hope someday soon to get to go over and see his cars.

I keep my collection private, but that is mostly to keep the scrap dealers away.
