The !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!!
I was perusing old articles at !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! and came across !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! of the history of car aerodynamics and some of the cars that moved the science forward.
!!! UNKNOWN CONTENT TYPE !!!
The 1921 Tropfenwagen was one of the first attempts to make a usable car with aero as a priority, it seems they were concerned mainly with speed back then (over economy today). VW famously tested a Rumpler in '79 and found that it was one of the most aerodynamic cars ever at the time, and still very respectable today.
There were a few Tropfenwagens sacrificed for the 1927 film !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! . So a car from 1921, was used four years later for a film set in the next century (2000). !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!!
It seems like it was one of those cars that if it caught on, everything would look very different today.
