Changed out the master cylinder on my car after too many sphincter-clenching moments where the pedal sank to the ground in hot weather. It wasn't so bad in cold weather, but summer's arrival meant it happened more than I would like. Then it started failing in colder weather, so that's when I decided to get it replaced.
After lots of back-and-forth, I finally got my father to help swap it out. So we strip the car down, and wait, why is this bolt so loose? We popped it off...and guess what? The bolt wiggled loose and got rust all over my booster. Nice. We also found out that somebody half-assed the fuel-line placement, supporting my theory that somebody in the past made some sportive adjustments that were hastily undone.
Well, after much fiddling, the car came back together and now it drives nicely. Hopefully no more "pressure pressure pressure LOL JK FLACID" moments. A smart person would have junked this car or, at the very least, not have gone canyon carving in it and attempted to chase down a Gallardo but, hey, I had fun.

I just replaced my 2 drums and discs for the first time in about 4 years. Big difference.
