I was this guy in Iraq and Aghan for sure. SgtMaj says, "Devil dog, what is that red and brown stuff all over you, why is your weapon condition one, and why for the love of titty-effing Christ didn't you shave this morning?" You should have seen the look on his face when I spit a huge amount of dip spit so close to his boot is splashed moondust and spots onto his boot. It was epic. We'd been on a long ass surveillance mission that we got compromised on and into a blocked ambush on our retreat. I thought I would catch hell from my LT or worse sycophant 1stSgt and co, but we went back out for 6 days and I never heard anything again about it.
