I'm watching timing and scoring. It is still early in the weekend but there is a distinct trend showing with 7 of the top 9 times currently belonging to Mercedes engined cars.

This track should magnify the Mercedes engine advantage seen in Bahrain. Meaning if you thought these teams were strong in Bahrain they should be far stronger here with all the slow corners on top of the long straights. I fully expect the W05-Hybrid to lap the entire field this weekend if there's no safety car and if the two Mercedes drivers are fighting hard for the win. There's also a good chance Lewis will be comfortably faster than Rosberg and the two drivers will be instructed to protect their equipment.
