So, I was talking with JQJ213 the other day, and he pointed out something to me... You can purchase a 305 horsepower AWD 6-speed manual Japanese luxury sedan in the US!
!!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! for yourself! Acura offers a manual equipped TL with SH-AWD! I did not believe it myself, but I checked, and lo and behold, there it is! I never knew that before, and I doubt many people do...
Props to you, JQJ213 for finding it! :)

Can you still order a tl? Aren't they replaced by the tlx?

Props to me, for having my brother in law who is a former acura tech/current acura service manager to turning JQJ onto it in the first place. LOL. Seriously though, when my sister's sonata was in for an engine rebuild (3 month job on a 2 year old car with 40k miles) He picked a manual TL from his job for a loaner in the meantime, Let me drive it, BEST MANUAL I HAVE EVER DRIVEN. it's so buttery smooth.

One somewhat gigantic problem.
Starts 4k higher sure, but its packing an underrated 333hp supercharged V6 with a 6 speed manual and a proper set of differentials and engine layout.
Oh and since people lease these things till the warranty runs out, who cares about long term use.
Use and abuse baby.
Oh, one more thing.
The TL looks like ass soup that was regurgitated and then turned back into ass soup. The old one really looked so much better and was much more restrained and actually looked the part.
I don't know what I'm saying, I'm just saying it. As you were.

It's even assembled in Ohio, just a mere 25 miles from my house :)

I was excited until I saw that it was a $44k Acura.

I don't even care that it's a 4-cylinder I can get one of these for 4k cheaper (The way I would spec it) World famous AWD system, and it doesn't look like a bird. And still get a manual.

They're a bit more common than you'd think (the dealer he works for had 2 in stock once!)

I've actually driven one of these and enjoyed it a lot. And from the driver's seat you don't have to look at the exterior. Yeesh.

The TL feels like the same regurgitated ass soup, too: Everything feels exactly like it does in a Civic.

I had a manual RWD Japanese luxury sedan with that much (and maybe a bit more) power. It was a 2007 G35S sedan, only cost $30K. No clue what the Q model goes for these days but I would likely take it over a TL.
