my computer needed a bit of tlc, after it decided to shut off on its own randomly, I decided to clean it up and reseated the processor. now it swhisper-quiet again, and no more loose heatsink.
before cleaning, the fan and rad were pretty bad on dust.
and after. I haven't put it back together in this picture, but you get the idea.

Damn, nice case but messy wiring! Not saying mine is nice at the moment.. Had the joy of having to buy a new PSU (and completely rewire everything) because I bought a better GPU last week and now its a mess again..

Yeah, wiring is a mess due to me not knowing how to properly do it, it's not a major concern, since it's not really disrupting airflow.

True :) I tend to tie-wrap everything together and out of the way. I know it doesn't matter much but:
You get the point.

dem push pins. aint life a bitch.
I hate those cases. They're nice to work in, yes, but absolutely unnecessarily large. I see you have 3 drives installed. An ATX motherboard with a single expansion card on it.
I just talked a kid down from a Phantom because he didn't have a clue how big it is. Luckily, I have one in the shop to show him. I talked him all the way down to a mATX build, because he isn't going to be doing much with it. Wants a gaming computer...
Oh well. He'll be getting something that will do the job just as well that he can carry around without much risk of dropping, and it'll be super fast, and a damn clean build too. I'll post pics when I get the parts in. Should start arriving tomorrow and friday.

The Phantom was a bit larger than I originally expected, but my old setup's case was some generic box with a couple blue LED bars up front, and suffered ventilation issues without a fan blowing onto the motherboard. I bought the Phantom to be prepared for for an SLI/Crossfire setup, if I ever go that route. It also stays underneath my desk the whole time, so it's not a big problem. If you want portability, the Phantom is not the answer, it's not only big, but it's also very heavy.
