Got confirmation from UPS that it was delivered this AM. My plan is to do one wheel at a time so I can take the wheel off the car, throw the (full size, thank you VW) spare on and take my time in order to do it right.
I'll be taking pictures and posting before/during/after results once it's all done.
Wish me luck!

You can do all 4 in one shot- just use a couple plastic bags to block off the brakes and mask off the lugs if you want. No need to mask the tires- a few wipes with xylene and it'll come right off.

I thought about that, but I'm in no rush, plus I want to scrub the wheel and tire really well inside and out with a degreasing soap first.

How long ago and how has it held up? Did you do any special surface prep?

about 4 years ago now. Just sold my M5 actually and peeled it all off and it looked just as fresh as the day I sprayed it on.
It was that awful desert beige-ish color and chrome style 65s (ugh) but it was an 03 with 43k meticulous miles, couldn't say no.
Didn't do anything special really, just washed the car and claybarred it and gave it a good rub down with simple household cleaner solution diluted with water 1:4.
I can post pictures if y'all would like
