After spending three days in the fastest car in the world (which turned out to feel like the slowest car in the world, a 2013 Dodge Avenger), I finally picked up my E90 with a repainted hood! Look at it shine!
!!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! , my hood got dinged because of some punk-ass kids throwing rocks onto the highway. About a month later, my hood is looking shiny and new, thanks to Excel Autobody in Springfield, VA!

McMike, I know you asked if they were good, and I can definitely recommend them. The owner is a nice guy and good to talk to about cars. Plus, he rounded the price down from the estimated cost, saving me $27. Whoo!! Oh, and he invited me to his bbq. LOL

Ultimate Repaired Machine.
Also, fuck those kids. Little shitstains, the lot of them. Some 12-year-old asshat was giving me lip the other day (I'm kinda slow and have difficulty understanding people, I asked him to repeat what he said and got MAXIMUM SARCASM in response) and if I wasn't so tired I would have taken the airsoft gun he was holding, snapped it over my knee, and shoved the plastic shards up his ass. Nothing good can come from a 12 year old boy with an attitude like that.
I've turned into an old man.

My son, the former owner of my E46, had said E46 rammed into by an idiot co-worker at Panera. I managed to get the cash our of her Dad and I too have a brand new hood on my car. Now for the rest of the car and various keying marks, etc...

Haha it happens to all of us sooner or later!
I would've popped him too.
I can't say anything bad about the process though. The kids' mom was really nice about it, her insurance was great to deal with and the bodyshop as well. I'm just glad I got my car back looking good.

The sad thing is that I am noticing all the other little nicks much more now that my hood is shiny.

Exactly. I'm restoring my E46 to "as new" condition, or as close as I can come. I need it so I have something to drive when I get something a little more peppy here in the near future.

If I didn't know better, I'd say this was your average craigslist sale picture.
"Runs and drives great, ICE COLD A/C, brand new rear left tire, rare model configuration, a real head turner needs some TLC, smog is seller's responsibility, MUST GO THIS WEEKEND"

Courtesy of iPotato this morning! But it DOES run and drive great, and has ice cold A/C. Tires need some renewing, but are you interested...? :D
