I'm sorry. But that was one of the best series I've seen in a long time. Shame that it was a rather flukey goal that sent the Kings to face the King.

I've been on the road all day, and only got to watch the end of the third period when I got to the hotel. I missed OT. But yes, even though I'm a lifelong Hawks fan, it was an epic series.

Lifelong NYR fan.
Be happy that you still have a young team and they're going to be good for *years.* Sharp, Kane, Toews, Crawford, Seabrook, Keith... and Quenneville to coach. The talent of that team...

I was watching with family and my sister, who had no interest in the game, says "and... He scores!" as a joke. Less than 5 seconds later, game over.
She thinks she's a wizard and hopes it will work again next time shes's tricked into watching overtime hockey. My stepdad, on the other hand, is not impressed...

I was just talking to my wife the other day about the remarkable talent on that team. How old is Kane? 23?

First round of the playoffs, I was at someone else's house. I turn the TV on, tune into MSG, NYR scores. 1-0.
Turned it off for eating dinner, turned it on again. NYR scored again.

What a game and what a series. I'm going to remember this one for a while. Thanks for the memories, Blackhawks! Good luck next year.
Go Kings Go!

If you're life long hawks fan you may enjoy this:
It's about Johnathan Toews is better than the entire leafs team.
