I mean, it's only been listed for 9 months now. In other news. Re-found a beautiful tunnel today, forgot how ear piercingly loud my car is. Such a beautiful thing.

I would except I don't live close enough and I have no use for a loud car. It's very nice.

She'd be an expensive project car thats for sure. If you're ever near Denver, CO I have a buddy with an 02 Frankenstein car that would fit that bill. (2002 WRX with an old 2.2L iron block running an 04 STI top end and internals. When its running right (which isn't often) it probably makes a solid 350 awHP.

Just an ebay turbo back with some fitment adjustments (need to have it cut and tacked higher though). Gets the job done and sounds mean. I'd equate it to Invidia N1 Race noise level.

Cheapest 05 under 150,000 for about a 500 mile radius. (Or more, I didn't bother to look outside of that)

Really if your anywhere in Colorado, you can find plenty of examples of any sort of WRX/STI..because thats all people drive here, lol

I agree. Just remember. Gotta add the tune to match it. Otherwise its a waste ;)
Are you rocking an XT by any chance?

So jealous. I was originally going to snag an XT when I bought the WRX. Couldn't find one at the time though :'(

That sounds like fun. Currently I'm working on my saabaru that I found an old Dyno slip showing 303 awhp. Once I get it back together and install meth, it'll be a quick ride. Only reason I dislike it is because it's a 4eat. I really want to pick up a bug-eye to do a full sti swap in though. I barely missed one for $1200 by an hour.

I am not a photographer, but I can tell you you should not try to shoot pics on the shade side of the car. Take a minute and turn the car so it shows in the direct light. Might make a difference.

dude, I'd say there's a good chance that interior shot is turning people off. Give it a good clean and take some new photos.
Take a good shot in the daylight so you don't have to use flash, flash will highlight and dirt and grime you normally wouldn't see with the naked eye.
I'd be interested otherwise.. if it was 9000 miles closer and had the steering wheel on the correct side.

Yea I'm aware. Sadly in a spot right now where I don't have access to any equipment to clean it myself so I'm going to have to have someone else clean it. Those shots are all in daylight without flash.

it's not that bad.. just a vacuum and removing anything that doesn't come with the car.
Ah okay, with your camera then try and get photo's during dusk or a cloudy day so you don't get the sunlight shining directly back into the lens. I'm not a photographer though so someone else here might be better for actual photo tips :P

Sadly no access to a vacuum hahah. Should have it cleaned up in the next couple days with some new pictures though.

The lack of cats basically makes this car impossible to register outside of Michigan and most of Indiana I guess. A local sale makes the most sense but that's going to still limit possible buyers.
You're listing it for $1500-$2000 above kbb value and for a lot of people (myself included) your mods actually make the car less appealing to me, I would almost never buy a car where the previous owner is running over stock boost and wants significantly more than Kbb value. It sucks but mods almost never raise the value of the car.
It's your car and you have the right to sell it for whatever you can get for it, I hope you get your asking price but if it's been 9 months and you haven't sold it then I think the market is telling you something.
Best of luck with the sale.

Damn if it were WRB I'd love it but I can't justify driving all the way from DC for a second car that isn't perfect for me.
Looks great though, surprised it hasn't sold.

Blue book is around the $8,900-$9,100 mark with options all added in. Add in the fact that there 3 other WRX's for sale within around 200 miles. One in Chi-Town with 138k for $11,000 (in excellent condition), one up north with around 150k on it for around $11,000, and one out in eastern MI with 90k on it for $13,000.
KBB's value on WRX's is confusing to me though, look at the NADA trade in value with the same options setup and you get the same value. KBB always has a shit load of options that didn't actually come with the cars as options as well as leaving out a bunch that they do.

Leave it to the typical Michigan attitude to play through for 90% of buyers. If it ain't 'Merican they don't want it. 8% of the remaining won't buy anything not Honda/Toyota. The other 2% is reasonable.

I almost snagged an 03 hatch when I got mine. Thing was actually in slightly better shape, had 5k less on it, and was $2,500 cheaper.... Oh the decision changes I'd make if I could go back in time.

That sucks. Luckily it's really... Diverse here in NoVa. All the upper-middle class people commute in BMW's/Merc's/Audi's etc. and then sell them after 2 or 3 years. The market for lightly used cars is great.
Luckily all the younger guys making good money in the many tech jobs available nearby seem to love Subies and Evo's. TONS of them all around.

It's the same way back in Colorado. You'll see at least 150+ WRX's/STI's/EVO's at the local car meets and a good amount of blacked out 4-5 year old German luxury cars.

$10k for a 10 year old WRX with 127k on it in a rust/salt belt state?
You're smoking crack. Drop the price if you actually want to sell it.
