Cheapest I'm seeing for anything that's complete/driveable is about 13-14k.

That's kinda what I'm finding too. It's also the wrong season to be buying classics. I find they're cheaper in the winter when the weather is crappy.

That's really your best bet. In that price range, you'll probably need to do some work to get them on the road anyway. There's no better time to wrench on the car than when it's too cold to drive it!

Yeah, leaky was a problem even during the C4 generation. GM weather strips were terrible.
