GMC Canyon or Chevrolet Colorado?
I like the GMC more because it looks like a more-refined mini Sierra.
Edit: I've changed the Canyon's picture to show one with the All-Terrain package, which is similar to the Z71 package on the Colorado.

Colorado. It looks more homely.

The Colorado reminds me of the Hilux, honestly. I quite like the grille versus the orgy of chrome that's present on the GMC

I think the front end on the Colorado looks a whole lot cleaner. I think I'd go for it.
But then can I have the interior from the GMC? Haha.
And maybe in a different color, perhaps silver the GMC would look a bit less "busy" in the front.

Colorado, I generally hate chrome (especially now that nearly all chrome is just painted plastic)

Id never thought id say it. But the Chevy is much better designed and coherent.

I prefer the Colorado

It looks better with the All-Terrain package, which I think is the equivalent to the Z71 package that's on the Chevy. Less chrome.

Canyon, the Colorado fascia looks great, if it were on an SUV and not a pickup truck.

The All-Terrain package on the GMC takes away a lot of the chrome. Just like the Z71 package on the Chevy takes away the chrome.
I should change the GMC's picture so they both have their "off-road" packages.

Agreed.

I think I'd take the Canyon.

I'd probably choose the Canyon because the front end is a lot burlier than the Chevy, in my opinion.

That lower silver piece on the grill, I am just aching to make that body color or black. Or just plain remove it, haha.
But all in all you are right, I'd go for the Canyon with this package.

I put the lower trim piece from the Colorado on the Canyon, quick and dirty in Paint, but you get the idea. I really like it like this.

Sounds like something some Plasti-dip could aid in changing. Or maybe the chrome is an option and it come standard in black plastic.

What I don't really like visually about either of them, is the curviness of the cab. I think the Chevy's design works better with the cab though, so I'll take it on looks.

I like both. Probably the GMC.

Easily the GMC ... it looks more coherent and more together than the Chevy. I'd even call it sophisticated-looking. ;)

Chevy Colorado definitely. Too much chrome on the GMC's front end, and I've always hated those three bars that they put on the grille.

I think they both look great, and I'm thrilled to see GM getting back into the mid-sized truck market. I have neither the need nor the space for a full-size truck, but these are perfect. I'd go with the Canyon, because I love how it looks like a baby Sierra. A bit more truck-y than the Colorado, imo, but with a premium look to it as well.
Here are some pictures I took at an auto show. It really is a looker, and I love the color too. With the Duramax on the way, this just shot to the top of my truck shopping list.

The Colorado, it just looks better and especially looks more like a small sporty truck compared the GMC.

GMC HANDS DOWN!

Whichever one isn't automatic.

Put a v6 with a 6 speed in the Chevy, make it a short cab like the GMC, and i'll take it.
Like this, though... I'll have the Canyon

Colorado.
I definitely seem to be the outlier here, but I really don't care for the Canyon's front end styling. It looks like it's trying too hard to look like a big truck like its brothers.
The Colorado on the other hand looks fantastic. Exactly what an aggressive "little" truck should look like. They realized that this should have a different aesthetic than the "big, macho can tow a mountain" looks of full size trucks. That works on those, but a smaller truck should look sportier, and not as utilitarian, IMO.
