Saw a poll on imdb for who is the best driver and most of the choices were fast and the furious characters and #1 was vin diesels ff character. All I know is the dude gets hit by a train at the end of the first movie. We can do better Jalops. If I didn't include your favorite write them in and include them in the comments.

Gah! I got it wrong. I knew I should have looked it up.

I just know in the movie he's called Misuser Frank, but it's actually Frank Martin.

Frank Martin the transporter. The end. But I think the right answer is Will smith and Martin Lawrence in bad boys. The Porsche vs AC cobra at the end was the ish

In the immortal words of all those immortals "there can be only one." If I recall Lawrence was driving in the scene at the end of the movie.

I meant to include them but I'm a little drowsy with all this bennadryl. Absolutely.

Franco : And now my friend, the first-a rule of Italian driving.

[Franco rips off his rear-view mirror and throws it out of the car]

Franco : What's-a behind me is not important.

I thought of Takumi first, but then remembered how his dad handed him his ass in the later episodes.

Fred, from Scooby Doo. No, really! First, he's got one of those flat-front vans from the 70s or so, which, as cool as they are, neither run nor handle any better than a wet cardboard box. Then, he's got a handful of freaks and losers for passengers in there, too. Seriously, he's got to try to keep the attractive-but-dumb Daphne out of trouble (remember, she's the one that always walks in to the Obviously Creepy And Dangerous Room/Building), Thelma's smart but basically blind, losing her glasses in every episode (Lasik already, would you?), and Shaggy... holy crap, the back half of that van must normally have like 3 hay bales of high test weed. And on top of all that? There's goddam *talking dog* riding around with him, while they get chased by ghosts/monsters/the-old-man-from-the-store. And guy just cruises along with a thin-lipped perma-smile, never wrecks the Mystery Machine once. Maybe he's no Racer X, but he is impressive.

Oh, man, I'd totally blocked out the memory of that little piece of animated hell. Even as a kid I found Scrappy annoying. Scrappy is the inspiration behind the phrase, "Makes me want to kick puppies", I'd bet.

On second thought, screw the movie. Videogame is where it's at. This had a ton of different environments, quite a bit of variety in vehicle choice and a bunch of parts that customised them in meaningful ways. As a kid I found the single player campaign tough as nails. I still don't think it's easy at higher levels. And split screen multiplayer... that was just mental. Have a sample of the low-res, low draw distance, but surprisingly good sounding racer, that is fun as [expletive]:

To be had on Nintendo 64 and PC. Possibly elsewhere. Not sure if the PC version had split-screen, but there's always emulators. Gonna have to dig it up soon. :)

Ey-yo buddy, the poll can be voted-on any number of times. So Sebulba is now in the lead. I guess it's a race! Broop-broop-broop-broop-broop.

Anyway, just discount the Sebulba votes. Sorry for being a prat.

Jean Reno is so badass, the Japanese made a video game where he decapitates, slices and explodes a bunch of daemonic samurai and their minions, equipped with a high powered classic motorcycle and a child in distress.

Kinja'd!!!

No, for reals, though:

The trailer manages to pack a massive load of trippy badassery in 2 minutes and 32 seconds.
