I followed that auction for a while, and yes, if I had the funds I would have bid it up to at least $20,000. New in box, 1970 redlines sell for anywhere between $100 to $1,000, and possibly more if you know your market. Considering there are 96 in there, and they're not all identical, you're looking at anywhere between $15,000 and $100,000 worth of incredibly in-demand collectibles. You have more to gain than to lose.

I do hope who ever buys them opens the case and posts whats in it. Sadly I can easily see a scenario where someone buys the case and hides it away unopened for another 40 years to resell.
