...on my way home from Detroit (client-site). I was starting to think they were make-believe; like unicorns, dragons, and ice cream trucks. Despite the wheels I'm loving the color of it.

This was my reaction to seeing my first donk. . .
Just the part at 8 seconds. . .

You best start believing in donks, zeontestpilot
because you're in Detroit.

Why even keep the stock spare at this point?

Oh man, I saw one in Indianapolis over the weekend... Crown Vic, hot pink, sitting on what were probably 28s that were white with a pink outline on all the spokes, and pink neons all over the wheels and underbody. I actually had to kind of respect it. lol

This one looks tastefully done though... I saw my first donks in April (?) I think. We were going through the ghetto of Philly to get to the center of Philly. I live in a rich suburb if Philly and have NEVER seen a donk here yet.

I wish they were all in Detroit! Then I would never see any more . . .

Hey, I guess Detroit likes to share the love?

Well I've been in Detroit since Tuesday, it only took two days to see it. Today, I saw what I think was a test car, covered up. I got some decent pics, I'm just trying to figure out how to load them up on mobile.

Well, if you love the car, despite how it may look, who am I to say its horrible. I just wouldn't do it myself....ever...

Because if they put they bigger tires on it, then they couldn't see behind them?

Neither would I lol But rockin' a bright pink donked crown vic with pink neon takes some confidence... and possibly a mental disorder. lol

Yeah, I'm in Detroit for the next three weeks. I live out in Howell, which is great for seeing muscle cars, and work in East Lansing, which is great for seeing over privileged kids with cars their parents probably bought them.
But I love Detroit, I'm debating if I want to see done of the abandoned buildings while I'm here...

I always figured that if a man was rocking/wearing pink, he is really comfortable with his masculinity. it takes guts. It is just a color, but one that as a feminine stigma to it. So hats off to that guy with the crown Vic!

My thoughts exactly. It probably helps his confidence and masculine security that he looked like he could have been Dwayne Johnson's double. lol

If you do, just make sure to not goto the popular ones I.E. Packard, train station etc.
Police know people trespass there and I've had friends get tickets.

I wasn't planning on entering then, just view them. I have a love of urban decay and architecture, but I would never enter unless I have permission and was prepared.
Fun fact, I told my wife I wanted to see them, she told my parents, I got chewed out.
Anyways, how safe are those areas, people wise. I know some of the suburbs aren't the safest.

Ohh, if you're just viewing then go wherever. As long as you're not stupid about it, you'll be fine. Ive been exploring the D for 4 years without a single problem.
I have so many pictures like this, its kind of ridiculous.

I didn't even realize how close those 2 places are until now, because they were taken about a year apart lol. But they are both by Eastern Market (hopefully when you expand the map road names will be readable).
The top picture is right off Chene st. & for the bottom photo you have to enter from the back of the building off Riopelle st.
arrows show location of car and angle of photo.
But really though if you just drive around surface streets you'll come across places like this all day long … thats all I did.

yep. They once had an Aston Vantage outside with at least 22s, that's the day I lost complete faith in humanity. I looked away, your not supposed to be able to do that to an Aston.

I'm surprised someone that could afford a Aston decided, "yes I do want 22" rims on my car".

Aston depreciation and drug money. Just a guess.
