Just looking at it makes the German national anthem play in my head. Deutchland uber alles indeed.

I miss the simplicity of the cluster on my E30's.

*late 80s.

My E21 had a pretty shitty looking cluster.

I like how the new BMWs put a modern twist on the old design. Simple but modern.

I like it, but yeah the late 80s gauges look the best. Same with the E12 5 and 6. The early gauges looked worse than the later ones.

While I concur, and I love their last gen dashes as well, I LOVE the Honda equivalent I used to have. Sooooo easy to read at a glance (the slight difference to the factory US cluster had a huge impact, yellow needles over red is still one of the easiest combinations to read through peripheral vision I've found).

Bonus pic, here's my gauges :D (Note: Both images borrowed, and most important of all I have one of the rarer 6MT 335is coupes, not that automated manual garbage!).
