Warning: Not for the Porschephile/Porsche fan or enthusiasts that is faint of heart :(

Back in 1998, Clarkson killed a 911, an ACTUAL 911. Well in this case, a '69 911 S modified to look like the very much sought after 2.7RS; but a 911 still, I couldn't bear to watch it all, but I suffered through it. Here are some very sad pictures of the events that led to the death of such a wonderful car: :(
This car didn't deserve this at all, but it did prove, and Clarkson said it himself, after taking multiple crashes, a shotgun, a rock, acid(burning acid), and finally, dropping it on an explosive caravan, that this car is a tank, right up until the end.

This GIF alone describes how I felt by the end of the video:

Not all that bothered.
He dropped a skip on a Biturbo though. That's unacceptable.
In all seriousness, it annoys me when perfectly serviceable cars are wantonly destroyed.

He did what?? I haven't a clue what this Biturbo is. I've seen Biturbo 911s, what's special about this one?

It's a 1980s Maserati that often turns up on 'top 10 worst cars' lists, thoroughly undeservedly.
I love them :)

I like the way it looks. Why is it regarded as one of the worst cars?

Yeah they look great. Like an Italian E30.
The first carbed 2.0l cars were plagued with reliability problems and rust, and that reputation followed them throughout their entire production run.
The reliability was improved massively with the injected cars in '86, and the 24v engines introduced in 1990 were solid. They started galvanising the chassis in '90 as well so that sorted the rust, and later cars had wider tyres and a torsen LSD to improve the handling.
The chassis itself was the sole one used from Maserati from 1981 until the 3200 GT in 1998, so it actually saved Maserati in a troubled time (despite causing a good deal of that trouble itself).
